A 62-year-old woman reported seeing “spider-webs” in her right eye for the last 6 months and her vision had been gradually decreasing at the same time. Past medical history was significant for well-treated systemic hypertension and hypothyroidism. She was initially diagnosed with uveitis and placed on topical steroids. Her symptoms persisted despite treatment; she was referred to a uveitis specialist for further assessment.

At presentation, her visual acuities were 20/50 from the right eye and 20/20 from the left. Her intraocular pressures were normal. She was noted to have diffuse intravitreal cells.
